Wow, has it really been a month since I have posted a blog?!? I am so embarrassed. I am finally re-surfascing! It has been a whirl of a month though.
As I sit her on the couch, in my robe, posting from my iPhone, I have a sweet little bundle on my lap snoozing. We are in full swing spit up spills, folks! And i can't believe I have THREE kids and don't know how we are surviving, but somehow we are. I keep waiting for reality to hit. See it was a miracle, literally a miracle, that my husband has been off for about two weeks! Has been such a huge help and support! My mom also came to visit and help for a week, so I think next week will be a true test of my mommy skills.
The big kids are adjusting quite well. Kasey absolutely loves her little brother. As soon as she walks in the door, she is scrubbing up to hold and love on her brother. Dillon is doing great as well, he doesn't care to hold him too much, but does shower him with kisses and hugs. Today, I finally got him to hold the baby since he was born.
Couple of things I feel I need to share:
I forgot how much babies poop
Little boys always pee out of their diapers...if any of y'all have a secret to not changing clothes 10 times a day, please, help!
Ordering Schwans for a new mommy is amazing!
Keurig saves my mornings!
Newborn heads are so sweet and must be kissed
Natural labor is for the birds!!!!
I desperately need to get out of my pj's
Will be posting again next week...hopefully I survive the weekend by myself with 3 kids!
